Apple iPad 2017 Review

Read Time:2 Minute, 18 Second

The new 2017  iPad is here and it called the iPad, not the iPad Air 3 or iPad Pro 2. What this branding tells us is that it doesn’t feature any trademark features but only features all the things we’ve come to expect from an iPad over the years.

It has a premium aluminum glass build that’s not too thick nor too thin, it is a bit thicker than the iPad Pro 2.  There are no new radical design changes at all.

The display itself is where apply cut the most corners when you compare this iPad to Apple’s higher end iPad Pro. The new iPod features a fingerprint resistance depo phobics coding and a 2048×1536 resolution, and that’s really good display for the average consumer who might be picky.

The iPad features Touch ID built into the physical home button gives you a fairly secure way to lock your device and keep it nice and secure.

OS runs very well on this new iPad, it features the most up to day version iOS 10 and has support for multitasking giving you the ability to run 2 applications at the same time to increase your productivity.

The new iPad feature an 80 chip with an embedded M9 Motion Coprocessor making it faster than the more expensive iPad Air 2. So it will keep up with whatever you throw at it.

Camera

There is an 8mp camera at the back but its nowhere as good as the iPad Pro so if you plan on taking pictures stick to your smartphone cause the camera will be more compatible.

The battery life is excellent with over 10 hours of battery life on WiFi.There are two stereo speakers located at the bottom. The speakers are decent but not as good as the iPad Pro speakers. Located at the top is the power button and 3.5 mm headphone jack.

The new iPad comes in three colors: silver, gold and Space Grey. There’s no Rose Gold, sadly.

Finally

If you’re in the market for a new iPad whether it be for work, school or play, I highly recommend the 2017 iPad it has all the essential features that make an iPad so great.

This device is given an overall rating out of 10 based on Design, Features & Performance.
