This is V-Moda’s first attempt at in-ear Bluetooth earbuds. These are the wireless version of the impressive V-MODA Forza Metallo In-Ear Headphones.
.
Design
It has a slim and ergonomic design with a thin plastic neckband with thin wires connecting it to the 2 control modules on both ends. The thick plastic design of the neckband allows it to fit very comfortable around your neck. Even though the earphones are made from plastic it’s well built and the cables aren’t cheap or flimsy.
One kool feature about the V-MODA Forza is that they vibrate when you get a call so you won’t miss any important calls.
On the neck flap, there’s a small flap that hides the micro USB port and it has a sweat proof coating which protects from sweat and water damage.
Controls
There are 2 identical control modules on each cable of the headphone which give it a balanced look. Th control modules sit flush on your chest so pressing the buttons are way easy so you won’t be fumbling trying to find the right buttons. The left module has a single button that’s responsible for powering on or off the headphone and on the right you get 2 volume buttons with a multifunction button that allows you to answer phone calls and access Siri or Google Assistant.
The connectivity is a bit of a mixed bag they have a strong connection strength but a limited range of 10-15 feet with a wall in between. But when you’re commuting or on the go you won’t have these issues.
On both modules, you get tiny noise canceling microphones that are very clean and clear when on phone calls.
Battery
V-MODA claims a battery life of 10 hours and in reality, you’re able to get a little over 10 hours. This is far from impressive so you will be plugging them in to charge very often if you’re using them to listen to music through the day.
Sound Quality
One of the first things you will notice is that these headphones don’t get too loud, you would think that’s a huge negative but they are very impressive at sound isolation that even on airplanes you won’t have a problem hearing your music. The bass is loud and clean but the vocals can be a bit tame because of the lack of highs. The low end is where this headphone shines so if you’re into low-end audio you will love these headphones.
Finally
The wired V-MODA Metallos sounds better but these wireless headphones are still a great wireless option. The build quality is just as tough with a lovely design. They are lightweight and very comfortable with a battery that can carry you through a full day. Poor battery life along with lack of highs in audio quality are just minor issues. The V-MODA Forza Wireless Headphones is a great option, they are lightweight and comfortable a great option for the person that always on the go.
The V-MODA Forza Wireless Headphones gets a total rating out of 10 based on Sound Quality, Battery Life, Build and Design…
