Power Banks are very handy accessories to have. They give you that added security of providing your smartphone and smart devices with power whenever you need it, no matter where you are. But they can be a bit bulky and uncomfortable to carry around on a regular basis. The AINOPE Vanguard-X1 Power Bank Aid is designed to provide you with all the power you need in a very small package at an affordable price.
Design & Build
I was taken aback of how small the Vanguard-x1 was when I held it in my hand for the first time. It’s easy to grip and hold and carry around comfortably.
I have never been a fan of big heavy bulky portable chargers. I prefer the small form factor because that makes it easier to carry around. The small design also means it can easily fit in any pants or shorts pocket and it never protrudes or feels uncomfortable. Additionally, it will easily fit in most sleaves and slots in your bags and backpacks.
It has an all-plastic design that very clean and minimalist which helps it to stand out from the competition. It doesn’t feel cheap or premium but it feels well made and solid.
To keep track of your power usage there is a small LED display at the top that provides accurate readings each time your charging.
You’re able to charge 2 devices at the same time via 2 USB outputs and for recharging the powerbank, you have the options of Micro USB and USB-C ports.
Power
AINAPE promises 2 ½ charges from its 10,000mAh battery which is pretty good for a charger at this price. Most Power banks that have those specs are double the size and weight and sometimes cost more.
In my real-world use, I was able to get 2 + charges which is on par with AINAPE figures. The charging speed is average, it doesn’t have quick charge technology to deliver mind-blowing charging speeds so you can expect standard charging speeds.
And the good thing about using this powerbank to charge your devices is that once you plug in your device to charge, the X1 automatically turns On and starts charging and when your device is done charging it will turn off automatically.
To Wrap Things Up
I love the ANIOPE Vanguard – X1 Power Bank, it’s not perfect but it a portable charger that does the simple things right. Plus it’s one of the smallest 10,000 mAh powerbanks you can buy at such an affordable price. The fact that it doesn’t have quick charge technology might be a turn off for some but despite that its a great device for the price.
